Little Dix Bay in BVI is a geologic sculpture surrounded by gentle blue waters! Just beyond a colourful barrier reef, lapped by gentle blue waters, lies the softly curving crescent beach of Little Dix Bay. Here, the "Baths of Virgin Gorda" (soaring sculptures of eroded volcanic rock) create an unrivalled beach setting in which time seems to be suspended.

Dining & Restaurants: The Pavilion: An open-air restaurant with sweeping views of the sea, serves breakfast and lunch buffets daily, plus American/ Continental a la carte. The Pavilion Bar & Terrace: sandwiches, snacks and light fare. The Sugar Mill: dining just steps from the beach. The Beach Grill specializes in casual American favourites for beach barbecues.

Best time to travel: The weather in the British Virgin Islands is relatively consistent year-round, with temperatures of 260 C to 310 C (790 F to 88° F) in the summer to 220 C to 28° C (72° F to 82° F ) in the winter.

The trade winds blow from October through July. There is no real rainy season, but showers occur from August through October.
