The Tower of Lethendy in UK is an ancient hunting lodge that has been completely refurbished, offering elegant accommodation within the original historic structure. For guests who seek pure comfort, this is an excellent venue for small conferences, board meetings, merger talks or for simply entertaining clients. It has its own private "par 3" 18-hole golf course and two tennis courts.
Location: Myken is just a dot on the map on the extreme edge of the Helgeland coast of Norway, north of the Arctic Circle. The place consists of a small group of little islands and skerries, where only the largest island is inhabited (Myken has a population of about 45) The lighthouse is situated on a separate little islet, divided from the mainland by a sheltered harbour. The lighthouse stands high with stunning views of the ocean and the mountain ranges along the north coast, from the Seven Sisters in the south to Landegode in the north.
Accommodation: The house has now been refurbished and redesigned to accommodate guests in one unit with 4 twin-bedded rooms, sitting room, and well-appointed kitchen and bathÂroom.
Dining: The lighthouse is for rent either with service or on self-service terms, as arranged in advance.
Activities: Guests can hike on the neighbouring islands, and there are various opportunities for those who want to fish, dive, sailor row.
Best time to travel: The summer weather can be wonderful for long periods, but this far north, it can also turn cold, rainy and windy. Because Myken is above the Arctic Circle, you can enjoy the midnight sun for a long period in June and July.
